Dear ICASSI-friends,

On Monday two major earthquakes hit Turkey and Syria and let to the tragic loss of thousands of lives, wounded people and displacement of entire neighborhoods and communities. We are deeply saddened by this tragedy which caused the loss of so many lives and indescribable devastation and pain. The sheer magnitude of the destruction and loss of lives is heartbreaking.

ICASSI has many participants, faculty and friends in the region who are affected by the aftermath of the earthquake. We offer our sincere condolences in these terrible and dreadful times. You are in our thoughts and our hearts are with you. We, the ICASSI community, are all here for you.
