Our co-chair Prof. EVA DREIKURS FERGUSON recently traveled to Beijing, China to give lectures at the invitation of the publisher of Children: The Challenge. Parents and teachers attended the lectures. Eva Dreikurs Ferguson signed copies of her father’s books, which have been published in Chinese and sold widely.

There is a large demand for Adlerian ideas for raising children, and parents and teachers are eager to learn Adler-Dreikurs teachings. At present there are four

Dreikurs books published in China: Children: The Challenge,  Psychology in the classroom, Challenge of parenthood, and Challenge of marriage. Eva Dreikurs Ferguson‘s book Adlerian Theory will be available for sale this month.

The Chinese community is eager to bring ICASSI’s summer school one day to China to enable a large amount of people to attend the summer institute. As a follow up to last year’s attendance of a big Chinese group in Indianapolis, more than 30 Chinese participants will attend this year’s ICASSI in Bonn, Germany.
