The local group has organized three wonderful weekend trips which you can book starting Friday, 19th June at 6pm CEST (Central European Summer Time).

Trip to Sofia – the capital
Date: Saturday, 1 August 8.30am – 5pm
Sofia City Tour – Free Walk in the Heart of the Capital
Discover the beauty, history, and spirit of Sofia through a relaxing free walk in the city center.
During the visit, you will have the opportunity to see some of the most iconic landmarks of the Bulgarian capital, including:
• Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
• Saint Sophia Church
• Russian Church
• Bulgarian Parliament
• Presidency of Bulgaria
• Regional History Museum Sofia
• Ivan Vazov National Theatre
You will also enjoy free time to walk along the beautiful pedestrian boulevard Vitosha, explore the lively city center, do some
shopping, and have lunch in one of the many restaurants located
on Vitosha Boulevard or in the charming small streets around it.

Hiking Tour

1. Gondola lift: Borovets → Yastrebets
• Duration: approx. 25 minutes
• Arrival at around 2,360 m altitude
2. Hike: Yastrebets → Musala Hut
• Hiking time: 1 – 1 hr 15 min
• Easy scenic trail
3. Short break / lunch at Musala Hut
• 10:45 – 11:30
• Rest, tea, snacks, and preparation for the summit ascent
• Lunch will take place at Musala Hut, located below the summit. It will either be served on-site or
provided as takeaway packages from the hotel. Final arrangements will be confirmed in advance.
• Lunch is not included in the tour price and is payable on site
4. Hike: Musala Hut → Musala Peak (2,925 m)
• Hiking time: 1.5 – 2 hours
• The trail passes by the beautiful Musala Lakes
• No climbing required, only mountain hiking
Expected summit arrival: around 13:30 – 14:00
5. Time at the peak
• Photos and short rest
• 14:00 – 14:30
6. Descent
• Start descending at 14:30
• Return to Yastrebets and gondola back to Borovets
Expected return to the hotel: around 17:30 – 18:00
